I've spent nearly the whole of my life wondering why I always felt like I was on the outside looking in, and in 2007 I finally decided enough is enough, it was time I took control and found out for myself.

On May the 19th 2008, I finally found out the reason why I am, like I am!

And on this day I got not one reason, but three!

  • Dyspraxia
  • Dyslexia
  • Attention Deficit Disorder AD(H)D

Sometimes life is just like waiting for a bus isn't it!

Since then my life has changed. That diagnosis freed me from nearly all the guilt and self doubt I have felt in the past and given me more understanding of myself and the confidence to write about it.

I went from, a woman that would be reduced to tears every time she had to write anything like an essay or official correspondence to a now published author and co-editor of a charity newsletter!

My book "Take 2 Asprin" is about my journey from realising I was ND and through obtaining diagnosis as an adult.

A process which a charity called DANDA (for adults with any ND condition/s) really helped me achieve.
