Inspired by Tv programmes like: "Police Interceptors" & "Brit Cops" - [2010].

Are all those people that ogle,
the new version of enforcement with updated toggle.

I can’t turn the TV on without them being there,
its like being under house arrest and it just isn’t fair!

They bleep out the language and add music that’s shady,
and it’s a regular favourite with my “old lady”.

She tries to hide her admiration for those guys without fear,
and it makes me feel left out as if I’m not really here.

So I snuggle and smile as I turn off the light,
in hope that her good mood will ensure “an early night”.

But alias all too soon my good plan comes ‘a’ cropper,
as she’s obviously in love with that Evo driving copper.

Crisply starched shirt he’s all blues and twos,
six foot what!, pumped up arms with swirly tattoos.

Oh “he” will travel the country on long days and nights,
looking so dashing in his “reactor lights!”

Keeping us safe, oh give it a rest!
how can I compete with guy in a utility vest?!!

Hold the phone!……………..this bits best by far,
a Met police bird in a bullet proof bra!

Well maybe this programme isn’t so bad,
as all of a sudden I’m not feeling so sad!

And maybe, just maybe our relationship won’t be a flop,
as I’ve just had an idea to visit a fancy dress shop!!!!!

Fluffy cuffs anyone?!
